South Frazer Lake Cabin

This is the second best cabin if you want to see bears. If you are afraid of bears this is a bad place. Rudy De Bock who is a bear expert who spends time every summer filming bears in Alaska stays at this cabin frequently. He is world known and on Facebook and will accept you as a friend. He has a lot of pictures of bears in this area so take look to see who your neighbors are going to be. This is long lake so the waves could come up at this cabin. There is little cove 200 yards away which should give you some protection. The beach is soft sand and gravel so you could take some wind without an issue. About a mile across the lake there are lots of float planes landing with tourist to look at the bears at the dam about a half mile from the landing point. The bears shown below are across the lake. Check it out before you land. The lat/long for this cabin in the Kodiak info is not even close and this cabin is in the trees so we spent about an hour trying to find it. Use my lat/long and you should be OK.
