This is the best cabin if you want to see bears in your front yard. If you are afraid of bears this is a bad place. We landed there just to check it out and run into Rudy De Bock who is a bear expert who spends time every summer filming bears in Alaska. He is world known and on Facebook and will accept you as a friend. He has a lot of pictures of bears in this area so take look to see who your neighbors are going to be. The one shown below was taken by Rudy in front of this cabin. This is long lake so the waves could come up at this cabin. There is a point about 500 yards away which should give you some protection. The beach is soft sand so you could take some wind without an issue.
