I flew over the lake in 2011 and the lake was very clear and I could see the rocky bottom in the bay in front of the cabin. I decided not to take the chance of landing on a rock. Have discussed landing there with the Seward Ranger district and they say it is not a problem, land out and side of the inter bay and taxi in.  I f you book this cabin refer it as Swan Lake Seward so it is not confused with other Swan Lake cabins.
