I flew over Square Lake Cabin in 2010 and had planned to land. It was a no wind day and the sun was bright. I was shocked that I could see the whole bottom of the lake. On a low pass I still could not determine how deep the lake was. I decided not to land and went on to Sitka. In Sitka the leading expert is a bush pilot who owns the Seaplane base at the Fly In, Ken said the whole lake was deep enough. Will try it the next time.
