Lake Eva Cabin

Lake Eva Cabin is a barrier free facility. (Wheel chair accessible) The cabin has great deck space and a great fire pit. The entry into the lake is low and easy.  The east entry gives some protection in high winds. The cabin is a standard 12x14 Pan Adobe.  Because of the low entry there is good fishing for both bears and humans on the trail. The trail is used mainly by bear observation groups but also gives good access to fishing. The trail goes down the other side of the lake so you do not have a bunch of tourist walking to the cabin. I have returned to this cabin several times. This cabin has oil heat, bring wood if you want to use the fire pit.
